What do we do?
Upstairs in the Kledingbank is the workshop Toffe Stoffen. This is where we work, seven handy volunteers who love to sew. We make new products from donated items that are beautiful, but no longer suitable for use. For example, we make bags, pillows and aprons from stained jeans or torn tablecloths.
Why do we do this?
The things we make, we give to people who make a donation. That can be as little as €5.00, but more is always allowed. The Kledingbank can then use it to buy useful items for the customers.
How do you get our products?
We regularly have a stall at a creative market in or near Nijmegen. Keep an eye on this website for places and dates. You can also visit our studio. Call the Kledingbank for an appointment.
Ordering products
If you want a product in a different color or fabric: ask us. We will then check our stock to see if it is possible. You can also have something made from your own garment. For example, a tie bag.
Finally, (small) organizations can order products from us for their Christmas package, for example.
