The Kledingbank helps people in the Netherlands who live (far) below the poverty line by temporarily providing them with free clothing. At the Kledingbank, we believe that respecting privacy is very important. That is why we would like to inform you in this document about how we store and use (‘process’) your personal data.

Personal data

There may be various reasons why the Kledingbank collects and processes your personal data.

  • For example, when you apply to become a customer of the Kledingbank, we will in any case ask for your contact details, date of birth, income, family composition and associated expenses.
  • If you want to help as a volunteer at the Kledingbank, we will process your contact details, your motivation letter and the data from your CV.
  • If you make a donation to the Kledingbank, we will process your name, contact details and bank account number, and possibly whether you want your donation to remain anonymous.
  • We also process your contact details if you are a supplier of the Kledingbank.
  • If you communicate with us by e-mail, we will of course collect your e-mail address and other personal data that you may provide in the e-mail.

Processing data

For example, we will not store your data longer than necessary and we will not share your data with third parties, unless this is necessary for our services or we have received your explicit permission for this in advance. You can revoke your consent at any time.

Rights

  • Mollie, for processing payments and associated data.

How we protect personal data

Kledingbank Nijmegen takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized changes.
